COTABATO CITY – A 4.6 magnitude temblor shook Sultan Kudarat province pre-dawn on Sunday.
In its earthquake information bulletin, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) traced the epicenter of the 2:45 a.m. tectonic quake at 15 kilometers southwest of Kalamansig town of the province at a depth of 30 kilometers.
The report said the earthquake was also felt at Intensity 3 in the town of Kiamba, and Intensity 1 in Malungon, both in Sarangani province.
There was no immediate report of damage, the Phivolcs said.
Aftershocks are also not expected, the agency added. (PNA)
